Milford Sounds, New Zealand (Sth)

A trip into the cold murky water of Milford Sound

Not being experienced divers by any measure we stood on the back of the small dive boat with 6 others contemplating the idea of jumping into 15 degree murky water or weathering the strong wind and driving rain that rarely let up for more than 5 minutes in the fjord.

Thankfully our great dive instructors at Descend Diving ( knew what they were doing. Finding some shelter in a little nook next to the shear fjord wall they and had us in the water and below the 2m of murky saline water into the clear and beautiful fresh water.

Not many photos owing to the weather but cannot recommend this trip enough!
